THE GOD TO HERD STARS
Awaiting meaningfully as yesterday You’re the god to herd stars Stars, already scattering
Hearing the sound of sheeps’hooves Indistinglly echoes from stars You are the youth who has taken stars washing
That year You took a palace lamp Stepped onto the ladder of rainbow
Occasionally you stumbled Shattering stars beyong the rainbow Your tottering foot sound Falling upon the clouds of July
You say you still not forget Your little kali A girl accompanied you to herd stars

Note: Kali is a Hindu goddess personifying creation and destruction. In Rabindyanath Tagor’s drama [Sacrifice] Kali is a destructive goddess
