Watch out, the watch!
Translated by Yuzhong
Mom’s watch, the one she picked Up on the road long time ago, Is getting sick At first she crazily kicks Sometimes she pauses, and sometimes she clicks Then she complains following Mom’s complaining and is not following And finally she stops going Not even telling She is really sick And is not able to tick And then I bring my mom’s words and her watch To the watch smith’s Promising ten dollars to get her fixed Mom says, “Oh, the watch!” It costs too much I say, “Watch, mom.” Too much is the time Being lost And the watch watches out Then openly says, “Watch, ouch! “ Shouldn’t we all be saying “Watch out?”
